Bridge Repair on Old Newport Highway Scheduled

TDOT will be performing bridge repair work on Highway 416 (Old Newport Highway) during the evening and early morning hours next week. The bridge is located just south of the intersection with Earnest McMahan Road. Work will take place from 8:00PM-6:00AM May 8-9, 2017.

The work will necessitate lane closures and flaggers will be present. Motorists should expect delays during the work periods and consider an alternate route.
